In 2011 Damon evaluated the structure and design of a new building we were constructing. His detailed report and instruction were perfect, clear and appreciated. The outcome is an amazing office space. We purchased a second house in 2016. We reached out to Howard Verna on immediately. Thank you Damon.

In 2007 my wife and I built a beautiful home on Lake Wylie with 13,700 sq ft under roof, but our builder went bankrupt and while there were no indication of any issues, I had some questions on the construction. Through a lot of contacts, I searched for a structural engineer and found, from several recommendations from builders, HowardVerna Engineering, Charlotte, NC. Damon Howard, the owner and Engineer, personally came out and inspected our home in 2009. I then paid for the changes that Damon recommended and I thought that all was well. We recently accepted a contract to sale our home and one of the contingencies from the buyer was to have an Engineer inspect our home, so once again, I called HowardVerna. When you call, you will speak to Nichole who is not only knowledgeable and professional, but very helpful. Damon came out and inspected our home two weeks ago and I found, while there was nothing really major, that the work that I had paid for, had not been done. Did I like everything that Damon wrote on his new inspection report?? No, but he only put in his report, issues that truly, while not big, needed to be taken care of. I plan to have a track builder, build a home next year across the street from our daughter in Lake Wylie and before closing I will call Nichole and have Damon scheduled to inspect our new home. This is truly the best insurance that you can buy and that is to have an expert such as Damon, inspect, what usually is the your largest purchase in your lifetime. We have cracking near several corners of our brick home. Damon inspected the foundation and addressed the issues via a detailed report and consultation. He gave us a prioritized plan for reinforcement and re-pointing procedures. Damon was very pleasant and professional.

Damon Howard did a structural inspection when I had cracks in my brick foundation. He was easy to work with and seemed knowledgable.
